A preoccupation with philosophy lead them to believe that reason was composed of compressed thought just as water was composed of compressed gas. So they hardened their thoughts into coporeal substance and become life on Earth. This was many years ago.

Ever since then, they have been trying to reconnect with the ethereal gases, believing that is the source of all answers they have forgotten. The trouble is they seek the light with closed eyes, with lead feet, and with heavy thoughts.

If only they'd remember that they were once the God they seek, maybe they'd lighten up.
