There are many people, perhaps most, who feel so alienated, so uniquely different. So we may all be the same. The difference I feel between me and most others is that most beg for acceptance, crave belonging, and sell out their individuality for the comfort of fitting in (ignoring the loss of perspective). While I agonize over the isolation at times, I find no real comfort or attraction in the compromise that lives in the shallows, for it is the depths that sing to me in this life and therein I find the song I wish to share.
