Sometimes we are not in the mood for conversation. What can we say at a time like that, after all, when we are not in the mood for conversation it is at least in part because we are not in the mood for words, most of the time, or at least some of the time, and without words, there is not much to say, unless we are talking (or not talking, to be more precise) about non-verbal communication and conversation is communication, after all, and then we might be in the mood, but not to talk. Sometimes not being in the mood refers to all interaction, not just words. So there is nothing to say.*
